@RossiB11 @BovingdonFC Must admit I was fearing the worst at half time at 1-1 needing to kick into that gale in the second half, but we played the conditions really well and hit them twice on the counter! They looked a really strong side so to come away with 3pts is a huge result, well done everyone!
English

Tough place to go to Pitstone and get points but delighted with all 3! Superb from the boys once again…5 in 5 and into 2nd place ahead of another massive week for @BovingdonFC #UptheBovi
English

Not a classic yesterday but with a depleted squad another 3pts on the board and 4 in 4! More goals from @blundenm8 & Flanny. The bus keeps moving 🚌💚 @BovingdonFC #weliketoparty
English

@RossiB11 @BovingdonFC @blundenm8 Well done Bovy! They’d taken points off Sarratt and Tring recently so were in a bit of a false position by the looks of it. Next two months will be very exciting, keep it up boys!
English

Superb away win at NPT for our @BovingdonFC boys yesterday! 3 good goals from Flanny, @blundenm8 & Smudge get another 3 points on the board and keep us right in the mix with 12 to go ⚽️💚

Always enjoy the St Mary’s Cup! 🏆 Come down to Tring and support the @BovingdonFC boys kick off 7.45pm and wrap up! ⚽️🩵🥶
English

Proud of my @BovingdonFC boys yesterday…up against a talented MK College side. Not many teams will take 4 points off them this season! Hoping that point is the spark to reignite us and get back in the mix ⚽️🟢
English

@yimbyjoe @jfwduffield Christ, someone better ring the Premier League and tell them to ditch 12 teams as no one is interested in broadcasting a 20 team competition!
English

@jfwduffield Believing the ECB deliberately didn't promote or invest in it is crazy. FTA broadcasters didn't want to cough up for the rights and it isn't cost effective for Sky to properly cover an 18 team tournament. Too many teams and matches for them to show it all and get people invested.
English

The ECB is a contemptible, incompetent & utterly corrupt organisation. The ECB has already conceded the Hundred is a commercial basket case because they are refusing to sell the TV rights separately from international cricket. Meaning they are next to worthless. 👏👏👏👏👏
Barney Ronay@barneyronay
“We’ve got investors who have never been anywhere near cricket before”. Says the ECB mouthpiece on TMS. As though this is a GOOD THING…. Before going on to waffle about the incredible expertise these entities will bring to the game.

@MySabaUK hi, I’ve been a user of the Saba Parking app for many years via the app. Today I’ve parked at Hemel Hempstead train station and it’s prompted me to download the new app, but payment doesn’t seem to be working. Same on the website. Is there an issue on your side? Thanks

@BaitVic @Observer_Owl I read it as meaning 1) Cleverley is not in charge of transfer policy. Ferguson would show players the door if they didn’t deliver, but Tom doesn’t have that power. 2) the players know the manager usually has a short shelf life and he’ll get the bullet for poor results, not them
English

What is he getting at here in the latest from the @Observer_Owl ? Even if you don't impress the head coach there are no consequences? Struggling to read this any other way than him suggesting he's either told (or is pressured about) who to play... #watfordfc

English

@WG_RumblePants I do go myself and love the CC, but so many of my England cricket-loving friends wouldn’t be seen dead at a game. When the CC is barely marketed, scarcely reported on, and the only time they hear about it is when the likes of Pietersen are slagging it off, it’s unappealing.
English

@BovingdonFC Can’t make the game today so really appreciate the updates on here, cheers! 👍
English

I'm not saying #WatfordFC should be signing these players or spending this money – we're shopping in a different world entirely – but Boro have signed in Jan:
Mark Travers (loan)
Ryan Giles (loan)
Samuel Iling-Junior (loan)
Morgan Whittaker (£8m)
George Edmundson (£600k)

@hemelstorm Good luck Storm! Do you know if the final will be available to watch on a stream anywhere? Thanks!

@daisyayliffe @MattHughesMedia @guardian_sport @HomeOfCricket Yes that makes sense, and I’m sure Lord’s is far easier than potential outgrounds for transport links as well. But if the MCC won’t budge then it does feel like it’s now an existential threat for the survival of the club - something has to give
English

@JimTyler80 @MattHughesMedia @guardian_sport I guess watching cricket @HomeOfCricket feels like a privilege you never tire of: A special day out.
Not quite the same as going to watch Middlesex at Swancombe Avenue in Hounslow, for example. (As much as I love Hounslow and this part of London!)
