I used some old honey buckets and drilled holes on them. Not sure how long they will last but it’s better than using plastic growing bags.

Had a bumpy start with growing mushrooms from grain spores. It turned out the fresh air is the key.

Highly recommended to grow some vegetables and fruits, it is a therapeutic exercise. This morning I was frustrated with my slow progress on some work related issues. Picking these figs made me feel better and recharged.

@cherrypiejay Our easy meals are 2 min noodles with only ½ tsp of the powder with some veg, chicken if we have on hand. Frozen falafels cooked in air fryer, in tortilla with salad veg, sauces (chip clip on bottom is a game changer!). Pesto stirred through pasta w/steamed broccoli

腊八蒜 - put garlic into some rice vinegar on the eighth of December based on the lunar calendar, and use the vinegar for dipping dumplings on the Chinese new year. The garlic turned green. Gosh! it has been a tradition in northern China but no idea when and how it started.

@FlyAirNZ is there any way to change a flight? In the last three days I have been trying to reaching to your contact center, waiting online over many hours, still can’t get through. Is there anyone available at the contact center? Or please give your customer more options, pls.

NZ289 was the first international flight landed in Shanghai on Jan 8 after China lifted quarantine rules for inbound travelers.

Interestingly my cousin tested negative for Covid at hospital. His wife and son had fever for a couple of days and recovered, but they didn’t test. So the cause of my cousin’s pneumonia remains unknown. 6/6

The same WeChat channel had an article on the covid situation in the rural villages. In the past 30 years lots of young ppl left rural areas for cities, their parents sometimes children were left behind. We are going to see loads of heartbreaking stories in the coming days. 5/6

I am doing fine, no sign of covid symptoms yet, touch wood. I talked to the wife of my cousin who has developed pneumonia and has been hospitalised. He is doing OK and recovering in hospital. 1/6
