With the Jock alpha release today, it's time to announce how to get a pair of these limited-run stickers I have available. 1. Make a substantive open-source contribution to Jock or Jock tooling at github.com/zorp-corp/jock… or github.com/sigilante/jojo.

Nockchain achieves atomic composability through intent-based transactions. Users specify desired outcomes rather than scripting onchain steps. Offchain apps process these intents and generate proofs. Multiple intents across different apps aggregate into single proofs that settle atomically onchain.

I remember when this network was impressive at 200 proofs per second.

The first Jock development stickers have been acquired: Jock's library has been supplied in ~migrev-dolseg′s Hawk application on #Urbit.

The proper role of a tool gives conceptual shape to our attention. To use a particular tool makes a decision about the moral landscape of the future. A tool & the way we use it entail something: we legate to our heirs a certain universe based on tools we build & hand to them. It's been my privilege to work at the side of the primary developers of @nockchain for the past few months, altho on a different project (@JockNockISA). Nockchain is not a pump&dump cash grab. It's not a high finance monkey trap. It's a moral statement, and I've become a believer. The legacy world, left and right, has offered you totalitarianism, “a boot stamping on a human face—forever.” Milan Kundera warned, “The worst thing is not that the world is unfree, but that people have unlearned their liberty.” Zero-knowledge proof is not merely a mathematical curiosity or a privacy affordance; nor is it simply a creed. ZK is the launch stage for the perpetual sovereignty of human thought. @ZorpZK has drawn a line in the sand: fair launch, zkPOW, secure solid-state computing. Kundera again: “Any new possibility that existence acquires, even the least likely, transforms everything about existence.” ZK is the condition which changes the shape of the future. Nockchain's launch is the acquisition of a new possibility, modest in its infancy, brim full of potential like a golden cup. (Bear it with care lest it spill!) If you want a picture of the future, imagine a thousand secret gardens seasonally in bloom—forever.
