@SGorard I wonder if university-based researchers lose out on EEF grants simply because they're too expensive. Not many not-for-profits have extensive grounds to prettify.

New free open access paper. How the range of education research expertise has narrowed over 20 years in UK. So-called mixed methods appears to be dying. Most people only know how to do so-called qualitative work. What a shame.

When apparent experts pass confident judgement on rural issues while displaying a very obvious lack of knowledge about the rural economy and rural way of life.
