That chronically ill person you know has probably never answered a "how are you" honestly. They probably told you "it is what it is", laughed and trivialised their pain because their real answer was long, traumatising and intense and they didn't want to make you uncomfortable.

This is frightening on so many levels, I can’t believe we have to be worried about our safety while going to work in Canada. I now have to make this elaborate plan of how I will get to work and home safely this weekend working at TGH.

I’m not sure if anyone needs to hear this but Getting COVID does NOT mean you ‘failed’. It isn’t something to be embarrassed by. This variant spreads like wildfire. Doing your best (vaccine, mask, less folks in your circle) is great at reducing risk, but it isn’t 100%

@foxonarock And unfortunately those staff are often overworked and less likely to have access to vaccine appointments, furthering your argument of employers not keeping their staff safe. Not good enough.

Can the general public stop assuming business owners/managers are doing their *best* to keep their staff safe?? I honestly cant tolerate the ignorance, min wage places function off sacrificing their employees health and wellness. I hope people clue into this and say something.
