Teams need real point guards not these shooting guards masquerading as point guards or combo guards running point. They need natural floor generals.

American basketball doesn’t reward this. 89% of time dudes like this are in a corner watching some fool dribble 45 times around ball screens. And then the fool draws two people and still shoots a terrible 2.

In my coaching career, the elite handle doubt/failure different. It’s easy when you are at the pinnacle- the climb is what separates!
