The family bond between my cousin and me almost broke over $50, and here is how it all started. On March 8th, my cousin asked me for $50 in USDC. I asked for his wallet address and promptly sent him the amount he requested. When the repayment was due, he began to complain, stating, "I was too stingy; I have nearly $500.00, and I can't even provide him with $50." The issue got so tough and almost resulted in physical violence that the head of the family had to settle the dispute. Initially, I was the one at fault. I ought to have used the Privacy Aggregation Layer feature to avoid the messy situation I found myself in. I should have private send him the money. What is the Solflare Privacy Aggregation Layer (PAL), and why does it matter? Solflare Privacy Aggregation Layer is simply a new feature that prioritizes every user's privacy on the Solana blockchain, as all transactions are transparent. My cousin can't analyze my wallet address on the explorer because every PAL transaction is private. Does the PAL feature account for high fees? The PAL feature is built-in across the Solflare ecosystem and powered by Houdini Swap. You don't even need to risk your wallet connection to any privacy dApps. Even with all of that, every private send incurs a very low transaction fee. Why a Privacy Aggregation Layer? It is worthy to note that PAL isn't full anonymity like Monero but rather “de-linking” addresses. - Your privacy is the number-one priority. - No address tracking, or "wallet snooping." - Avoid wallet tracking; it makes individuals vulnerable to robbery, as demonstrated by a real-life scenario in which a top OG was robbed after their wallet was tracked. In cybersecurity and blockchain security, PAL (Privacy Aggregation Layer) is an important feature that every crypto wallet needs. - It focuses on keeping information (my wallet address) private, which is one of the three main parts of the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability). Remember, PAL is always your best pal.
