Jorn replied to my post in the community saying that there are changes on the way to fix the issues with the algorithm that I was pointing out. Hopefully it does get fixed soon. IMO quality of work, pro expert profiles, and client impact should definitely be heavily weighted. Follower count should definitely not ever skyrocket a profile past other designers with more better quality work. The vast majority of Framer pros and experts are just trying to create good high-converting sites for clients, not to become influencers or something.

Last week I was ranked 19th on the @Framer expert index page. But now that Framer 3.0 came out and changed everything up. I'm much much further down the list. By default it seems like the new index is ranking positions purely based on how many Framer community followers that you have. Shouldn't the ranking be based on the quality of work instead of being a popularity contest? I fear that if this is the new standard, many great designers may be swept off into irrelevancy simply because they don't participate in soulless community engagement farming campaigns.

TILT LABYRINTH Here's my entry into the @Framer 3.0 Hackathon. This is the last level and it's super hard, but doable. I burned through all 10k of the AI Agent credits that Framer allotted for the 24hrs of the challenge. On desktop it uses the wasd/arrow keys an on mobile it uses your device's gyroscope allowing you to tilt your phone in any direction to guide the ball into the goal. Try it out and see if you can beat it!👇🏾

Nope you're not the only one. I literally ran out of free credits after 10 prompts. My entry into the Framer Hackathon also ran out of credits near the end even after the one day 10,000 credits boost that Framer gave out. It's definitely going to take me some time to figure out the most efficient way to use agents, if I even use them at all.

Am I the only one feeling like @framer agents are basically a demo? I used it for about 5 minutes and hit the cap just by reviewing a component. They pitch it as the new way to build in Framer, but there is no real builder plan. Even Pro feels ridiculously low if 3000 credits a month means about 30 minutes of actual work. The whole value is the Framer context it has. And that is exactly the part we barely get to use. So right now it feels like MCP with better packaging.

Uh oh, are @framer templates dead? At the very least all the templates that are so basic that they can be made in a few prompts are now going to be obsolete. There's no point in anyone using a template if it looks and feels the same or worse than a Claude one-shot. I wonder how this will pan out for the Framer marketplace long term...

I’ve only had my @framer expert profile up and active for about 2 weeks so far, and I’ve already been contacted 4 times. I didn't expect the leads to be so rapid with me being a freshly added expert, but somehow it's working. 📈
