@NickSmi85755728 @Irish_Bees If Burnham is elected, he will not call for an early GE. Is that what you’re suggesting? I saw a media piece that said “Andy Hurnham has suggested he might call an early GE”. The key word in here is ‘might’, because there is no way that’s happening!

Fair chance if Burnham wins. If he doesn't the incoming PM who replaces Starmer probably won't call an election in the hope they can turn things round. They won't of course but I'm hoping by the time they're forced to go to the country Kemi will have turned enough voters to win a Tory victory or create a Tory/Reform coalition.

What would count as a good result for Restore? 🇬🇧 Given that Restore was only registered a few months ago: >5% = disappointing 5–8% = respectable 8–12% = strong result 12%+ = major breakthrough 15%+ = political shockwave If Restore were to finish ahead of the Conservatives, Greens and Lib Dems combined, and get into double figures, most political commentators would view that as a significant achievement for a brand-new party. Even if they don’t win, it would likely ensure they’re taken seriously going into future elections.

Stop assuming this is a symbol of slavery and oppression. For many women, it's a symbol of faith, dignity, and personal choice. Not every woman wants to dress like you. And that's okay.

I understand where you’re coming from, however I don’t think I could tactfully vote if I were in Makerfield’s shoes. I don’t agree on the abuse you’re receiving though, people need to grow up. Unfortunately there will be a few people who are extremest. I see people are passionate but some people on X need to learn that disagreements are okay, and to move on. You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders, brush this off and keep posting 👌🏻

I simply said today, that Restore (who i am 100% behind) cannot win in Makerfield, but they will poll better than folk think. Restore have far bigger battles ahead. So voting Restore is essentially letting Burnham in. Starmer is doing a grand job of destroying Labour, so leave him there, stop Burnham and hold your nose and vote Reform. Why give Burnham an opportunity to fix Labour, he has a lot more support than Queer! The abuse i have got from my own team, has been next level, i am not Restore, I’m a Reform plant! Ffs grow the fck up Over 200 unfollows for being sensible and putting country first! The reason i took so long to switch to Restore, because i wanted to as soon as Rupert declared the party, was because, i looked at the replies, posts from Restore members, the abuse towards Reform, and anyone who dare speak against Restore. Ultimately Restore best aligns with my views, so i had to switch. I just do not get it, i am not here to fight Restore members, we’re on the same fcking team. I am not here to fight Reform. But, go ahead, i don’t want followers abusing me because of my stance on Markerfield! It’s pathetic! And has actually shocked me tbh, some people are weird. For me its country first and foremost, if a borrowed vote stops Burnham, then thats what i would do. But because i would do that, i cannot possibly be a Restore member, i am a plant, been called a cnut, a tosser, fck off back to Reform! What the fck is wrong with people!?

@Bushra1Shaikh There is an inherent problem you seem to avoid. If people are Muslim first (as you have said), then service to the ummah and/or the advancement of Islam may take priority over country. That could create serious issues for the thriving of non-Muslim groups in the country.

Non-White Brits are fully entitled to criticise their country. Too many people on the right treat any criticism from ethnic minorities as evidence that we're anti-White or somehow don't belong. That attitude often stems from a deeper belief that ethnic minorities are guests in Britain rather than fellow citizens with an equal stake in the country's future. The reality is that most of us were born here. This is our home. We have every right to celebrate what Britain gets right and to speak out about what it gets wrong. Criticising your country isn't a sign that you don't belong; it's often a sign that you care enough to want it to do better.

This is what happens when politics becomes deeply polarised. Many people (not just Muslims) feel politically homeless. Faced with a limited set of choices, they often vote for the party that comes closest to reflecting their views, not because it represents them fully, but because the alternatives feel even further away.

@telhalliday @MarkHeath45 Finally an answer, thank you! Sounds far from ideal, however he’d need to win this election and be voted into power by his peers. You could argue he could be the nail in the coffin for Labour. Labour will not be in power after the next general election, surely!

@JossFletch @MarkHeath45 He is believed to be even more left wing, will bring more immigration, doesn't know what a woman is and will drag us outright back into the EU despite a democratic vote to leave!

Makerfield can vote how they like, its democracy after all. Restore, unfortunately, will not win. So the 2nd best thing, TRUE PATRIOTS, can do, is stop Burnham! Burnham in will be a disaster, why give him an opportunity to rebuild Labour, Starmer is doing an amazing job of destroying Labour! And expect us to be back in the EU within 2 yrs

@Georgeturnerutb The atmosphere will help people react like this. Football means a lot for some people. Dissing people for having a good time is not the edgy post you think it is.

@SaarNil72 Do your own research and see who works harder for his constituency, shows up to parliament, submits questions to the house. Rupert Lowe cannot be bought by money, Farage would be corrupted.

This is really, really disturbing. Inviting a pile on to a woman that is critiquing the inaccurate terminology of a “report” - namely the use of “county lines” - and nothing, NOTHING to do with the survivors testimony. This lady has supported survivors of this horrendous scandal. Simply saying throwaway comments like this without even knowing to what she refers, is so cruel not to mention dangerous. This is becoming intolerable.

@JossFletch @CivilDefenceUK1 She laughed at the rape gang enquiry and then tried to dismiss in the most infantile fashion because the report referred the country border as a ‘line’, despite it making perfect sense in the context… because ‘county lines’ is also a compound term with another meaning.

Labour are going to be in power regardless if it’s Keir, Andy, Wes, or someone else. People are more likely to listen to you if you make your case with evidence. I think people have jumped on the “stop Andy Burnham” train without really thinking for themselves. Anyway, Restore will win the GE in 2029 🇬🇧

@SaarNil72 Can you tell me why you do not want Burnham in? What are your reasons for this? Have you came to the conclusion from your own research or following the crowd like a lost sheep, bleating the same thing you read online or other Reform accounts?
