The Long Good Friday. Watching the sun setting over London from the top of St Paul’s Cathedral. I took this, but not tonight as it’s cloudy and I’m not at St Paul’s Cathedral. Anyway, if you haven’t yet watched The Long Good Friday film, then tonight is the night. Go and find it and watch it. Whoever wrote it had a crystal ball as to what would happen in London. Incredible to see London forty plus years ago. A different world. That’s your evening sorted. You’re welcome.

There’s something timeless about watching those old steam powered narrowboats glide along England’s winding waterways. A quiet reminder of slower days, like stepping back into a gentler, slower time. The kind of quiet beauty that never fades, and never rushes. Pure nostalgia..❤️

My mind is officially blown! Watching Minder at home on my boat right now and they were sat in a pub. The woman came out and there she is, right opposite where I’m moored now! This episode is about 45 years ago and there it is! The view of her and I’ve popped on deck to show you the same view now. Incredible.

For all my dear Twitter pals who are stuck indoors today, come and stand in the blossom of the cherry tree and listen to the birds. We have Jackdaws and Coal Tits calling. Raucous geese have a squark, Wood Pigeon sit in the tree, ho-hooing, and the bees just buzz on by. Spring.

I want to wish all my friends around the world who are celebrating Easter a glorious weekend. For Christians, Easter is a time to reflect on the gift of Christ and his teachings to our world. For example, when asked which was the most important of the commandments, Jesus pointed to two: 1. Love God 2. Love thy neighbour as thyself Anyone who publicly expresses their love for God while failing to demonstrate their love for their neighbours is choosing to ignore what Christ taught them. Anyone who demonstrates daily contempt for their neighbours will have to justify that to God when the time comes; I wouldn't want to be in their shoes when it does.

Picture this: you're half-asleep on a Lufthansa flight when the cabin lights suddenly flip on. Turns out a big orange cat had escaped its carrier and decided to go exploring. Passengers stayed super quiet, flight attendants grabbed flashlights at first, and everyone teamed up to gently catch the fluffy escape artist without freaking it out. In the end, the cat was safe and the whole cabin handled it like pros.

Bank Holidays can seem more lonely for those living alone, pick up the phone, send a text - contact someone who’s alone - let them know you are thinking of them 🧡

My Daughter came over to tell me her daughter heard that I had brain cancer. 🙄 She took this photo and sent it to me to upload to prove I'm not ill. The people who are ill are those that are spreading these ridiculous stories. I'm fit as a fiddle. You don't have to worry.

And now I’m here. A morning of photographing an event in Ealing that involved a giant bunny wandering around and frightening small dogs and children. The events I photograph could never be called boring. Time to begin the download. I may even have a glass of wine while I do it.
