@JaneFallon I was just listening to it on here. A live performance came up. 1996 was great for music. I know nothing in the charts now 🙈

@JaneFallon I walk that way to work at the moment so I'll take a look. Thanks. Have you ever walked down Roupell road near Waterloo, it's like going back in time. I only discovered it recently and It's my favourite part of London now. 😁

@purbrooktony I think they kept the facade of the terrace and built something new on the back. It's immediately (almost) south of Southwark bridge on Southwark Bridge Road.

@JaneFallon @JoannaCannon Such a darling! This is my cherished Zimmet, given to me at the age of two. His name is what I replied immediately upon being asked what his name would be & I made his shoes at about the age of 9. He's never worn anything but dresses xxx

To avoid dealing with my emotions, I've thrown myself into a project instead (because why change the habit of a lifetime) and I decided to clear out the giant workshop next to my house. So backstory: When I was little, I had two 'important' teddy bears: Gold Ted and White Ted. Gold Ted is still sitting safe & sound, and watching over me, but White Ted disappeared years ago and I never knew where she went. I've thought about her a lot over the years and I always hoped I'd stumble across her again one day. As I've been clearing out the workshop, she's been on my mind. I've been tempted to look inside every bag of old clothes and blankets I've hauled out, just in case she might be hiding in one of them, but I told myself not to be silly (it would have doubled the time it's taken if I'd searched through every bag). Yesterday, when I *finally* reached the back wall, there was a cardboard box. I opened it to have a quick look inside, in case it was anything important, and there staring up at me, was White Ted. I just burst into tears. I can't believe I found her again after all these years. I know it's ridiculous at my age to be crying over a teddy bear, but she played such a big role in my childhood. Now she's back and reunited with Gold Ted, and I could not be happier. Nothing in that workshop has upset me so far ... but an old, battered teddy bear with one ear and one eye, tipped me over the edge. And maybe (just maybe) throwing yourself into a project is the best way of dealing with your emotions after all.
