What a fun dinner last night with our guys who made the Steak Dinner Club. Very fitting that they were our captains. Good leaders and selfless people!
Collin Morrison and Briggs Bucy tied for the team lead with 11 on the year (19 and 17 if you include charges in practice)!

Last night we celebrated the annual Steak Dinner Club. A club that requires a player to get 2 charges in one game, and earns that player a free steak dinner. This year we had 4 members of the club: (juniors) Gavin Geier, Briggs Bucy, Logan Vasquez, and sophomore Collin Morrison!

@JustinDehm The Ironmen are in a sub sectional of 8 teams. The seeding has been pretty fair the whole time.Don't think we need to make this change.
The change I think should happen is the higher seed hosts a game. No need for Pekan and Normal to drive to United Township on a Tuesday night

Absolutely ridiculous. So the end of the year rankings on Max Preps has us 45th in the entire country but 4th in the state? We lost to the same team twice in state and we are 18-2 against ranked teams in Illinois. The seeds would be comical. @IHSAOfficial @IHSA_IL @NestoHoops @jo

It would be so easy to just ask @NestoHoops to do them!
If @IHSA_IL asked coaches throughout the state, I guarantee they would prefer his system over MaxPreps’ flawed AI rankings.
After we won the state championship, MaxPreps still had us ranked below the team we beat!

Cooper Koch shot 29.1 percent on catch-and-shoot three-pointers in Iowa's first 17 Big Ten games.
In Iowa's last seven games, Koch is 24-of-43 on catch-and-shoot 3's.
Koch continued to play big minutes for the Hawkeyes during that cold streak because he impacts winning, and he found other ways to contribute.
Now, he's starting to see shots go down, and he's played a big, big part in Iowa's success.

Illinois High School Basketball is The home of the Original March Madness and we can’t find a better time to play the 3rd place game than a few hours after the semi final game. Really unfortunate for the players and coach’s.
