Whatever anyone says about #DaredevilBornAgain season 2, they have made me geniunely invested in Daniel and Buck in a way I was invested in Ben Urich or Wesley or other side characters in the og show. Props.

Many of the problems with #DaredevilBornAgain would be fixed with a 13 episode season format and a stronger focus on the ‘navel-gazing’ parts of the Netflix Daredevil. Dario, it worked for a reason. Please listen to the overwhelming amount of people asking for more character work

@InfernoOmni @RaspyRacoon I understand what you mean! Im just trying to emphasize that these small life decisions can add up to what someone stands for. I think more people would press the button than you’d might think. It’s not always about validation, more so about one’s own moral beliefs

@KION0A @RaspyRacoon I’m not saying they’re not great people. I’m saying the button decision exposes you to a gunshot to the face I the moment. Instant death. Outside of extraneous pandemics, nurses and doctors won’t evaporate after a surgery. But yes there are long term effects and consequences.

@InfernoOmni @RaspyRacoon Multiple nurses and doctors young and old exposed themselves to COVID to save lives. They knew the risk and they still took it, many even died. Look at every other pandemic. Even with the financial incentive, I’d say you have to care enough to be in this career

@RaspyRacoon doctors and nurses aren’t putting their lives at risk when performing surgery. firefighters and police officers yes. they are heroes. heroes aren’t the common denominator. and even decent people can succumb to the law of self preservation.

@Mourinho2Not @radarsenses Yes, exactly this!! The events unfolding in the story are dense, but the focus is spread too thin for any real character development to be done on any specific character. This is especially noticeable in Matt and Karen

@KION0A @radarsenses Kinda weird that ep 5 showed that they can do that character focused narrative (not even talking about the Netflix induced visuals) but they seem to have so much in the plate that those characters moments have to either be rushed or take a backseat.

The biggest problem with Daredevil Born Again season 2 is that the cast is so bloated that there isn’t enough time to focus on each character properly as a show should. It’s making an earnest effort and I appreciate it, but a shift from cameos to characterization is needed…
