@KantoClark Oo, that is hilarious. Makes sense now, I could have also e webbed and heat waved on the sylveon spiritomb board but I wasn’t confident it was goes to kill.

@KantoClark Not sure what point you mean but the end game was zard and heliolisk on hyper beam cooldown, skarm I knew out speeds zard so I was trying to get a couple more hyperbeams on heliolisk since it was scarf.

@fungi_v Its not a perf sci but the idea of diminishing returns is an big factor. If your HP goes above two times one of ur defenses, u start getting diminishing returns on survivability %s. So if u care abt a certain bulk, may be best to invest in that if it is less than half your HP

can pokemon players explain why i would want to invest in HP points over Defense or Special Defense?
And when should I invest in Defense/Special Defense for like, an offensive pokemon that doesn’t want speed
