With the weather that is coming through to include high winds, trees have fallen on roadways and water levels may be high in some areas. Use caution when traveling.

The Karns Fire Department is currently on-scene of a motor vehicle crash involving a freight train at the Ball Camp/ Ball Road intersection. Please use caution in this area.

Crews are on the scene of an MVA in the area of Pellissippi/Carmichael NB. Road will be shut for an extended period of time. Exit at Lovell Rd.

Units currently on the scene of a vehicle accident at Oak Ridge Hwy/ Ball rd. Lengthy clean up required. Use alternate route.

Watch for downed power lines and tress. Currently know of a downed tree on Crosslane and malfunctioning warning devices at the railroad track on Westcott. Please comment of other known hazards so we can all remain safe during this troubling weather.

Motor Vehicle Crash at Lovell Rd/plumb Branch. Use caution if already in the area. Please use alternate route

The underpass in Karns is starting to flood. Use caution when traveling and it is safer to go a different route if the road appears to be flooded.

Karns Fire Department is on the scene of a residential structure fire in the area of Westerly Winds. Please use caution if traveling in this area.

A controlled burn was conducted in the area yesterday and another large one today. This has created a significant amount of smoke that has blanketed our area. Smoke can cause eye and respiratory irritation. If you are sensitive to this, take precautions when outside.

Byington Beaver Ridge at Garrison is blocked until a semi truck can be moved. Please use alternate routes.

Karns Fire is currently working to contain a large wildland fire in the Hardin Valley Community. TN Department of Forestry is assisting in containment with tracked dozers. Due to increased winds please be mindful when burning outdoors. @wbir @wvlt @6News
