@cargilb @SusieM414141 Actually E bikes do not belong on the sidewalk. Why do you think they have bike lanes on the roads? In New York and New Jersey, it is illegal to ride a bike on the sidewalk. Don’t know about other states.

@KevinComis @SusieM414141 ebikes belong on sidewalks and on streets. But cars don't belong on sidewalks. There shouldn't be any dropped sidewalk for cars to pass over sidewalks.

This e-bike rider is moving at a very high speed on the sidewalk. As you can see, the truck turns into a parking lot—and that’s where things go wrong. So who had the right of way? In my view, it was the truck, since sidewalks aren’t meant for vehicles moving that fast and the rider should have seen the truck turning in.

@SusieM414141 There's no speed limit for ebikes on sidewalks. Cars must yield to ebikes on sidewalks. Legally the driver is at fault. Morally the ebiker is at fault.
