They did not withdraw from Jordan for free.. they naturalized Palestinian refugees there.. that was the cost of peace. They remained in South Lebanon until 2000, but it became difficult to stay due to constant resistance operations. They tried again in 2006. They realized that if they want to invade and annex, they would need to burn the ground to avoid dealing with future resistance. tell me what are they afraid of? An invasion of Israel from Lebanon with Hezbollah’s tanks and airplanes? The made sure to sustain resistance groups so when the time come to annex they have a motive... Everything else is gaslighting. Resources are not... As for Egypt, Israel still has no fixed frontiers… and time will tell... and even if they withdre from Egypt why would this be an argument for not wanting south lebanon's land, gaz and water? Lastly, if you don't see the evidence, thats not enough to tell the southern lebanese to trust israel.. and not fight l.

We both have no sources.. I just see how they operate in the states and everywhere else.. i believe what they say... and dnce you understand that Israel has been planning to expand its borders since forever… annexing lands… gas and water… once you believe what Netanyahu is saying, “we are making Israel a superpower”… you will look in retrospect and understand how wrong you were… you’ll understand why he personally financed Hamas… he personally decided to withdraw from Lebanon in 2000 but not entirely… you will understand why they are burning the ground in the south… you’ll look at everything you know about politics in Lebanon as a psychological operation… brainwashing… Zionist propaganda masquerading in the form of “blessed are the seekers of peace”… the Cedar Revolution… blaming internal parties for blasts and financial crashes… so when the time comes to invade and annex… Lebanese will say thank you for saving us.

When Netanyahu says he's ''making Israel a superpower'', you better believe him.. If we look at war the way we look at a crime, the first question we ask is simple: what is the motive? No one commits an act of this scale, spending billions, risking regional escalation, putting entire populations under threat.. without expecting something in return. There is always a prize. So what is it here? We are told the motive is security..ballistic missiles, nuclear threats, defense.. But Israel already possesses nuclear capabilities and overwhelming military superiority... it has already the nuclear deterrence.. so what is the real motive? The only explanation that fits the scale of the cost, the risk, and the persistence over time is strategic gain.. The war on Iran (and before it on Syria) helps remove future resistance threats, creating conditions for territorial expansion gaining control over strategic resources like gas and water ensuring no credible opposition remains on its borders in decades to come.. In that sense, a war with Iran is not necessarily the end goal..it may be the bridge toward the main objective.. Because in the end, just like in any crime, the question remains: After all the risks, the money, and the lives lost… what is the reward? Yes.. what if the war on Iran was nothing but a bridge for the real war to extend territories?

And they suddenly stop doing it after syria went out? Israel did everything possible to make syria go out of Lebanon so they could engage in the 2006 war... without having to deal with the Syrian army.. (and if you think Syrians went out of Lebanon because Lebanese demanded so...)

Maybe call for a ceasefire before calling for negotiations? Begging for negotiations while silently accepting the pounding inflicted on civilians, and making excuses for every bomb, is not a way to negotiate peace... it’s a way to surrender and indirectly (in my opinion purposely) allow the enemy to kill more Lebanese you politically disagree with. That is the lowest form of politics

Hezbollah’s double standards: protesting against the Nawaf Salam government because it wants to negotiate an end to this war, YET it has no problem with Iran negotiating over Lebanon’s fate!

France is occupying a Jewish-owned home in Baghdad, Iraq as its embassy. It hasn't paid rent to the family in 50+ years and is instead making payments to the Iraqi government that seized it from the family. Disgusting. @EmmanuelMacron

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Lebanon was the deal-breaker nobody is talking about enough... The nuclear issue and Hormuz get the headlines. But according to sources inside the talks, a critical breakdown came over Lebanon. The U.S. offered to convince Israel to stop strikes in Beirut first, then "gradually expand" the pause to southern Lebanon and the rest of the country. Iran wanted an immediate, full ceasefire across all of Lebanon. They couldn't bridge that gap. This is the pattern playing out exactly as predicted throughout this war. Israel's refusal to stop bombing Lebanon has now directly contributed to the collapse of U.S.-Iran peace talks. The country that wasn't even in the room in Islamabad torpedoed the negotiations from 3,000 miles away. The ceasefire clock keeps ticking. Every day without progress is a day closer to the bombs resuming. And every day Israel keeps hitting Lebanon is a day Iran can point to as proof that American commitments mean nothing. Source: Axios

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷The talks failed. Here's what actually happens next... Twenty-one hours of historic negotiations ended with Vance walking out and Iran blaming "American greed." But the details matter more than the headline. What actually broke down: Two issues. Iran won't give up Hormuz control or commit to ending enrichment. The U.S. won't unfreeze assets or accept Iranian tolls on international waters. After 21 hours, neither side moved enough on either. What didn't break down: The ceasefire is still in effect. Iran says "negotiations will continue despite remaining differences" and technical experts will exchange documents. Vance left a "final and best offer" on the table. Nobody burned the bridge. They just couldn't cross it today. Pakistan is understandably devastated. The delegation reportedly poured enormous political and diplomatic capital into making this happen. Islamabad locked down a city of two million people, deployed thousands of troops, flew fighter escorts for the Iranian delegation, and put its international credibility on the line. Now it's caught between its defense pact with Saudi Arabia and its role as Iran's mediator, with nothing to show for it yet. The realistic scenarios: Iran quietly accepts the "final offer" within days. The mood swings during talks suggest they were close on some issues. Sometimes walking out is what forces the other side to move. If Iran's economic desperation is as severe as sources inside the talks suggested, the financial pressure may override the political resistance. Pakistan or another mediator brokers a resumption. The clock runs out with no agreement and Trump faces the same decision he faced on April 8th. My read: This isn't the end. The war started because two sides couldn't bridge their differences across a table. It would be tragically fitting if it restarts for the same reason. Source: Reuters, Washington Post
