Tanker traffic has nearly stopped under Washington’s “maximum pressure” campaign, with all major shipments intercepted, delayed, or forced to reroute. The blackout here in Cuba is eerie and disturbing. Whole streets with zero light, every window dark, and then you see shapes moving in the darkness and realize people are trying to live their lives. I cannot believe how cruel this US policy is. We could stop this.

A friend in Cuba just notified me that every single patient in that hospital that was on ventilators died tonight. I don’t have words.
