The Federal Government of Somalia has deployed the elite Gorgor forces, trained by the Government of Turkeye, from their bases in Mogadishu to various regions in order to intensify operations against Al-Shabaab. This move is aimed at strengthening national security and stability, coming just days after government forces reached the strategic city of Baidoa.

@MohamedASalad If Somalia plays well for the next 2 years of scheduled matches, it could do a similar run as The Gambia which jumped from 178th to the low 100s in FIFA’s rankings and from there cracking the 80-50 rankings 10 years later will be do-able when the current foundations bear fruit.
