Kᴏᴏᴘᴀ Kᴏᴍᴍᴀɴᴅᴀ™

I left because I felt disrespected. I merely asked why people that were not black were getting paid more than me and given more opportunities despite having been there less time. I tearfully expressed how that made me feel...then a few days later, I was "let go." Then I was told they would only invite me back if I signed an NDA that waived my right to sue them for racial discrimination or to talk negatively about my experience. That's when I realized that they didn't actually are about me or my feelings...or addressing any of the problematic issues about certain people that I brought up to HR. So I declined the several thousand dollars that would have come with signing the NDA and said "Deuces." Plain and simple. They didn't want me. They wanted my silence. So I left. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Now I work with someone who respects me as a human being. So it all worked out.
