@DomziiD When the other coin got rugged, the developer was the one to blame. In this case, you’re the developer.

@DomziiD These are good developments, but you also need to update the DEX alongside them.

The U.S. government is considering placing Donald Trump on a new $250 bill, breaking a 160-year-old tradition. A proposal supported by members of the Trump administration calls for a special commemorative $250 note to mark America’s 250th anniversary. The design would prominently feature Trump’s face, reportedly based on his 2023 Georgia mugshot, along with his signature, a major departure from standard U.S. currency. However, there is a significant legal hurdle. A law enacted in 1866 prohibits living individuals from appearing on American paper currency. For the bill to become reality, Congress would need to pass new legislation overriding this long-standing rule. Supporters argue the note would honor Trump’s presidency and celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial. Critics contend that altering currency traditions for a sitting president would be inappropriate and politically motivated. The proposal was introduced by Republican Congressman Joe Wilson, who believes Trump deserves this recognition. What began as a discussion about a single banknote has evolved into a larger debate over presidential legacy, historical tradition, and who belongs on American money. For more than 160 years, U.S. currency has featured only deceased presidents and prominent historical figures, a safeguard designed to keep politics out of everyday money. If approved, the Trump $250 bill would represent one of the most significant changes to U.S. currency in decades. For now, however, it remains only a proposal. Before any American can hold or spend the new bill, a law in place since 1866 would first have to be rewritten.
