@ProlificSphere @LaurenWitzkeDE Who said that blacks or their blackness created the ghetto? Not me. There are many factors that led to the ghettos forming but I was just providimg some context for the white flight you seemed to be complaining about. Read that book I showed above in my original comment.

@LBrasting @LaurenWitzkeDE Man what⁉️ How could any black person create a ghetto we began as slaves in America. Go to the origin and get back with me. Immigrants that you speak of were given what you needed once your people hopped off the boats.

@ProlificSphere @LaurenWitzkeDE Your people were used as biological weapons against people groups that by and large played no role in the subjugation of blacks, and you expect them to stick around while your people demand access to them and destroy their ethnic communities? GTFO

@ProlificSphere @LaurenWitzkeDE Blacks were forced upon the Irish, Italian, German & Polish Catholic communities of New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia etc, which is why almost all black ghettos are former Catholic enclaves & why you find so many old churches & street names testifying to who lived there

@PPR1313 @RealCandaceO The Bible is a compilation of books that use various literary genres, from poetry & historical texts to geneologies & apocalyptic literature. It sometimes switches from metaphor to poetic language & back to literal descriptions all in the same paragraph. Not everything is literal

@PPR1313 @RealCandaceO You do know that poetic imagery isn't meant to be taken literally, right? "It is he that sitteth upon the globe of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts: he that stretcheth out the heavens as nothing, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in" - Isaiah 40:22

@LaurenWitzkeDE If you skip to the 1 hour 50 minute mark of that video, you can see Kenneth Copeland taking a call from the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, and he thanks him for helping Jews return to Israel, and Copeland says that his family is Israeli and Herzog replies "I know."

@LaurenWitzkeDE Check out this documentary. It has a section on Paula White. She had an affair with the multimillionaire megachurch prosperity swindler Benny Hinn, who is also an Israeli. A lot these charismatic megachurch types are secretly Jewish. Kenneth Copeland etc youtu.be/PYNxwNjVcL0?si…

Paula White isn't a Christian. She's a 2x divorced spiritual and financial con artist. Her “ministry” is as spiritually bankrupt as John Smith’s. Don’t be fooled: Even the Devil knows and can quote scripture to lead Christ’s flock astray.

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv To summarise: You thought that Paul's instructions around prayer, prophecy & head covering were about how to act in Church & tried to force a contradiction between that & his command for women to be silent in Church then concluded that it mustve been a later scribal addition

NOW - Dame Sarah Mullally is officially "enthroned" as the Archbishop of Canterbury, head of the Church of England, becoming the first woman to take the role in 1,400 years.

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv Historically, Christian women veiled everywhere outside the home just like Muslim women do. This was the practice up until recent times. You're making the assumption that Pauls instructions around head covering and prayer etc were for Cburch and trying to force a contradiction.

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv Also, can you show me the verse where Paul is talking about women prophesying in Church? Because form what I've read, the instruction around head covering, praying & prophesyimg has nothing to do with beimg IN Church hut is a general instruction for Christian practice.

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv No, now you're being a pedantic prick. His point was that the women at the Church in Corinth shouldn't be loud & disruptive, which is what he was addressing. His solution was for them to be quiet, ask their husbands questions at home so as not be disruptive.

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv There are times when people have received a prophecy from God (such as Agabus in Acts 11) or when people were praying in different languages and needed an interpreter, but this was all done outside the liturgy AT Church but not DURING worship.

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv If it helps, its better to say at Church (i.e, the place of gathering) rather than in Church (i.e, during worship aka the liturgy). That's a crucial distinction and one you're failing to make bc I doubt you've even been to a Christian (aka Catholic) liturgy before.

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv But done at church but not in the middle of a service. They would have known when it was appropriate for a woman to speak up about a prophecy or request prayers etc. You don't just stand up and start ranting and raving and drawing attention to yourself or trying to run things

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv Because Christians don't pray out loud or prophesy in the middle of the liturgy. Have you even been to a Church before? They would have the Love Feast & pray & share prophetic warnings & distribute money & food to widows & the poor & needy but that was separate from lifurgy

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv If his solution to one of the issues was for them to be quiet & ask their husbands at home along with mentioning that men are to be spiritual leaders & not to cede that position to women, that implies that women were being loud & disruptive & domineering during the sacred liturgy

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv The difference is he was addressing an issue happening in the Church at Corinth which is why he was writing the letter to begin with hence "if they want to enquire about something they should speak to their husbands at home" It was about maintaining liturgical reverence and order

@kevsaucebro @Bubba321B @disclosetv You're either a subversive rat or a special kind of stupid. Just because St. Paul said something you don't like or because you lack basic reading comprehension skills, doesn't mean it was a later edition. Praying and prophesying in Church & out of Church are two different things

Every Deportation is a Policy Failure
@Bubba321B @disclosetv That passage was probably not written by Paul and is more likely to be the work of a later scribe. Why would Paul insist that women should remain silent in churches mere paragraphs after mentioning offhandedly that women have a role in church prayer and prophesy?
