@WantAGoodHandle I mean... Was he wrong? And I say that as someone who grew up listening to both.

Your Old Droog once tweeted this song was 9/11 for people who owned multiple copies of Liquid Swords by GZA and that tweet has been stuck in the back of my mind ever since.

@TorraineWalker If there's one band that deserve a biopic, it's them.

There's a documentary on Netflix about these pioneers titled "A Band Called Death" I urge all fans of music history to watch. They had the opportunity to sign a major record deal but they wouldn't change their name. Fast forward 10 years and heavy, aggressive nihilistic punk/metal was a multimillion dollar industry.

Three Black men from Detroit are the visionaries of punk music. They are a band called Death. They are important to the history of music and further reminded that all music is rooted from Black culture.

The alt edits were my favorite part of the DVD. BA and Gino tied for my favorite edit for a long time. Koston's was really good, too.
Also, Mike Carroll's alt edit song [I.M.P's "Frisco"] was used by Rob Welsh for "Free Your Mind." So, it makes me wonder if that was the OG edit.
Black Phaze@BPhaze215
also just learned that there was an alternate version of BA's YR! part, where he skated to The Stooges instead of Interpol pt.1
