Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's #HYDRAA protected 863 acres of public land worth nearly Rs 15,000 crore from encroachments in #Ameenpur today.
HYDRAA carried out a major operation in Ameenpur with heavy police deployment to remove encroachments.
The drive was conducted in coordination with revenue and municipal authorities.
Care was taken to avoid demolition of houses in #Ailapuram Thanda and the main village, ensuring poor residents were not affected.
The operation focused on reclaiming vacant government land without disturbing existing residential settlements.
Authorities demolished an illegally constructed guest house despite court stay orders.
A six-storey building constructed without permissions was also demolished.
In Ailapuram village of Ameenpur mandal, there are about 1,263 acres of government land, much of which already has residential settlements.
The government is safeguarding the remaining 860+ acres of vacant public land without disturbing existing homes.
The reclaimed 863 acres are estimated to be worth over ₹15,000 crore.
Despite court orders since 1998 to maintain status quo, illegal constructions were carried out, prompting HYDRAA to take action.
