“Vegetarians don’t get enough protein.” This is not a protein problem. This is a planning problem. Let’s fix it properly 👇 1) First, understand this: Protein quality depends on 3 things: • Amino acid profile • Digestibility • Absorption Not just grams. 2) The BEST vegetarian protein sources (clinically): 🥛 Dairy (most underrated) Paneer, curd, milk, buttermilk ✔ Complete protein ✔ High bioavailability ✔ Gut-friendly for most This should be your foundation. 3) Lentils = Your daily base Moong dal → easiest digestion Masoor dal → light & efficient Toor dal → staple ✔ Good protein ❗ But incomplete → don’t rely alone 4) The biggest mistake vegetarians make: Eating only dal + roti/rice → Low total protein → Poor amino acid balance Fix: Combine with dairy. 5) Soy = Powerful but misunderstood Soy chunks → ~50g protein/100g Tofu → clean, light protein ✔ Excellent amino acid profile ⚠️ But digestion matters → introduce slowly 6) Nuts & seeds = NOT primary protein Almonds, peanuts, seeds ✔ Nutrient-dense ❌ But calorie-heavy ❌ Easy to overconsume Think of them as supporting foods, not main protein 7) Sprouts = conditional benefit ✔ Better nutrient availability ❗ Raw sprouts can cause bloating Fix: Light steaming improves tolerance. 8) Clinical reality (important): Even if intake looks “okay” on paper: • Low stomach acid • Poor gut health • Fast eating / poor chewing → Protein absorption drops significantly 9) Practical structure (this is what works): Every meal must contain a protein source: Breakfast: Curd / paneer / chana Lunch: Dal + curd/paneer Dinner: Dal / tofu / paneer No protein → no meal Vegetarian diets are NOT protein deficient. They are structure deficient

Most people are chasing the next big thing. Some are quietly fixing the most basic problems. Met Hardik who is passionately been building Adys from Jaipur that brings real impact in 10 mins and most people don’t know about them. Adsys has developed a device that does complete blood count test with just a finger prick and generates a report in 10 mins. For a country like India, where millions lack access to diagnostic labs especially in rural areas this is massive impact. Don’t need a lab or a technician. Just this small device and a phone to generate a report and it costs 6x less than anything else on the market. For the last 6 years, they’ve been on this. No noise, no headlines and trying to build something that works where it matters most and save lives.

Indian men are going bald at 25, gaining belly fat at 28, and getting fatty liver at 32. Nobody connects the dots. - Hair thinning at 25 - Belly appearing at 28 - Fatty liver on a blood test at 32 - “Borderline sugar” by 35 - BP medication by 40 You’re treating each one like a separate problem. It’s not. It’s the same body. Same lifestyle. Different stages. 1. The hair was the first warning - He notices the hair at 25. Buys a ₹1,500 shampoo. Tries oils. Tries serums. Nobody tells him to check his stress, his sleep, his iron, his D3. It wasn’t the shampoo. It was a body running on cortisol, zero protein, and 4 hours of sleep since college. 2.He notices the belly at 28 - Joins a gym. Goes 3 weeks. Does cardio. Doesn’t change what he eats. Quits. Blames metabolism. It wasn’t metabolism. It was 5 years of Swiggy, sugary chai 4 times a day, and 12 hours of sitting. 3.He gets a blood test at 32 because his company forced it. Fatty liver. High triglycerides. Borderline sugar. Doctor says “lifestyle changes.” He nods. Moves on. Nobody told him the belly fat at 28 was already doing this - dumping fat into his liver silently for years. 4.He’s on medication by 40 and calls it “family history.” It never ran in the family. It walked there. Slowly. Through every skipped meal, every 2 AM sleep, every Swiggy order, and every blood test he postponed for 10 years. The 25-year-old losing his hair and the 40-year-old getting a stent have more in common than they think. They just met the same lifestyle at different stages. Your body doesn’t break overnight. It sends warnings for years. The hair was the first one. Most men just bought a shampoo and moved on.

ULCER IS NOT CAUSED BY HUNGER OR FASTING Ulcer is not caused by hunger or fasting. Ulcer is caused by H. pylori, hypo-acidity of the gut, and certain NSAID medications that trigger inflammation. Ulcer can be treated by removing the triggers, taking salts, and fasting with carrot or cucumber-infused water to help correct stomach pH and support healing of the stomach lining. Although H. pylori has always coexisted with humans in our stomachs. This is the reason you can test positive for H. pylori without having any symptoms of an ulcer. Strong stomach acidity helps ensure that H. pylori does not thrive or damage the stomach lining. The root cause of ulcers is not only H. pylori, but also weak stomach acidity. Because the bacteria H. pylori can reduce stomach acid in order to survive. Stomach ulcers are slowly becoming more common. We contribute to this with certain diet choices: soy, protein shakes, sugar, fructose, wheat, low-salt diets, artificial seasonings, processed foods, constant snacking, and seed oils. Drinking too much water immediately before or after meals can also affect digestion. Vitamin B1 deficiency may also occur in some people due to gluten intolerance from wheat or wheat derivatives. Medication abuse is another factor: NSAIDs, antibiotics, PPIs, and similar drugs. Lastly, eating constantly without allowing the stomach to rest. You can heal when you take care of your diet and daily habits. And stop owning diseases — it is not your ulcer. Chronic Kidney Disease A Growing Global Burden of Modern Metabolic Disease Every day, the kidneys filter nearly 180 liters of blood. However, their physiological role extends far beyond filtration. These two small organs act as master regulators of the body’s internal balance, helping maintain: • Fluid and electrolyte balance • Blood pressure regulation through the renin–angiotensin system • Red blood cell production via erythropoietin • Activation of vitamin D for bone health • Acid–base balance, essential for cellular metabolism In essence, the kidneys quietly maintain the chemical environment in which all cells function. A Growing Global Burden Kidney disease is far more common than most people realize. More than 800 million people worldwide are estimated to have chronic kidney disease (CKD). Millions of patients eventually require dialysis or kidney transplantation to survive. One of the most important drivers of this epidemic is metabolic disease. Diabetes alone accounts for nearly 40% of CKD cases globally, making it the leading cause of kidney failure. The Hidden Link Between Kidneys and Metabolism The kidneys are not merely filtration organs. They are deeply connected with metabolic regulation. They help: • maintain acid–base balance, essential for metabolism • activate vitamin D, influencing bone and immune function • remove metabolic waste products such as urea, creatinine, and uric acid Interestingly, the kidneys can also produce glucose through gluconeogenesis during fasting, highlighting their role as metabolic organs, not just filters. Healthy metabolism therefore depends not only on what the body produces — but also on what the kidneys regulate and remove. A Reminder on World Kidney Day When kidneys function well, multiple systems—from the heart to bones and metabolism—remain in balance. On World Kidney Day, it is worth remembering: The kidneys work silently every day to protect our internal balance. Taking care of them means taking care of the entire body.
