New publication from our lab investigating hand conditions in pregnancy and postpartum @JHSGlobalOnline. Great work @gabysmith36, Bill Young (MS3), and @ATitanMD!

Her work in the lab has involved statistical shape modeling to track morphological changes to peripheral joints in CMC OA, prediction of upper extremity fragility fractures using hand radiograph measurements, and MRI-based evaluation of cartilage matrix degeneration in CMC OA.

What's a fun fact about you? I am a former Team USA biathlete who competed internationally and on the World Cup for a number of years prior to medical school!

What projects are you working on? I am currently working with the team to investigate whether pulsed electromagnetic field therapy may play a role in osteoarthritis symptom relief.
