Being a salary earner in Nigeria is not for the weak.
You receive your salary today… by tomorrow, you’re already calculating what will not get paid.
- Rent is waiting.
- Food prices have doubled.
- Transport is draining you daily.
- NEPA will still bring bill like they supplied 24/7 light.
Before the month even reaches 5th, your account is already breathing like it ran marathon.
You start doing mental maths:
“If I remove feeding… manage transport… postpone this…”
Life turns into constant adjustment.
And the painful part?
Your salary hasn’t increased, but everything else has.
You’re not lazy.
You’re not bad with money.
The system is just hard.
Most salary earners are not living…
they are just surviving from alert to alert.
And every month ends with the same question:
“How did all the money finish again?”
If you’re a salary earner in Nigeria, I see you❤️
