Putting our soldiers in hotels puts civilians at risk. Maybe nobody cares anymore, but doing that makes it lawful to bomb that hotel, depending on the ratio of soldiers to civilians and other analyses. It makes it more likely to be targeted, as well.

All this talk of Iran targeting water filtration systems but Israel has done this in Gaza. 80% of Gaza’s water filtration systems have been destroyed & engineers cannot get parts to replace them because the Israelis will not allow them through, citing that they have dual usage.
