The amazing @LinqiLu_ presents our Schitt's Creek-inspired study at #NCA22 today! Our finding: a narrative featuring rewards for accepting, supportive behaviors established prosocial norms for inclusivity better than one w/ punishments for homophobia.

Some highlights of my new publication: 1. Negative emotions increased information sharing about COVID-19 within both strong/weak-networks. 2. Beliefs that information sharing benefits disease prevention only boosted sharing within strong-tie networks. doi.org/10.1016/j.peci…

Talking with a lot of grad students at #AEJMCMW22 this week about free ways to collect social media content. I am in awe that there isn't more training on these collection strategies (including for qual scholars).
