80 years ago, the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima - a crime against humanity that killed tens of thousands in an instant. We remember the victims and survivors, and recommit to building a world free from nuclear weapons. We also remember Gaza, where Israel has dropped over 85,000 tonnes of explosives: five times the power of the atomic bomb, on a densely populated strip of land with six times the people. More than the Blitz. More than Dresden. This is not “self-defence” or “war”. It is genocide.
