We want to take a moment to share some important updates about the future of Lobster.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve taken a step back to assess our progress and align it with our vision.
While we’ve made significant strides this year, we’ve realized there’s still work to be done to ensure the $LOB token launch meets the standards our community deserves.
Lobster is here to reshape the DeFi liquidity ecosystem, offering a sustainable and innovative way to generate returns from liquidity pools. To achieve this, we need a strong foundation, and we’re committed to getting it right.
While we could have rushed a TGE to secure funding, it would have been the wrong move for you, for the project, and for the investors who believe in us.
Launching prematurely with incomplete metrics would waste the unique opportunity we have to build something impactful. Instead, we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the TGE.
The snapshot for the airdrop will still happen as planned on December 7, and all points earned will count toward your allocation in the future token launch.
To ensure transparency, we’re hosting an AMA on December 4 at 6 PM CET on Discord to share more details about our decision and answer any questions you might have.
However, we firmly believe this decision sets us up for long-term success : building something great takes time, and we’re determined to create a protocol that stands the test of time.
