Does Umar Nazir really not understand what’s going on here? Does he think stopping in Rawalakot indefinitely to beg and pleading our innocence to Pakistan will achieve anything now? Ofcourse they know you are not armed, indian agents, terrorists etc, you don’t need to keep on telling them that - they already know! The fact is JAAC is a threat to the long term threat to their geopolitical ambitions in Azad Jammu Kashmir and their colonial style domination over the region hence why it’s now their state policy to crush them by any and all means, and the above allegations from their political class and state media is just a way to provide a pretext to fulfil this state policy. JAAC are a threat to their long term objectives in AJK. This why they launched a full attack on AJK. They killed 100 + & are enforcing a communications blackout and food bloakcade to protect - they are using all means including starvation and indiscriminate killing to ensure their goals are achieved. Pleading with them will not change their state policy, that’s not how nation states work - it will only get you crushed. Pakistan is not your friend, it’s a nation state with its own interests. The only thing they will now respect is force, your courage and presence on the ground. The success of this movement will only be possible if we continue to resist and move forward untill the point where the Pakistani state capitulates and feels it is unviable for them to continue. At that point they will be forced to the negotiation table and we can extract any maximalist demands and we will emerge from this in a much stronger position. This principle is exactly how the poor people of North Yemen recently forced the entire US Navy to flee from the red Sea and how Iran faced the USA, and won. This is unchanging Quranic principle. Does Umar Nazir not know this? Ofcourse he does. Sadly it seems his is now looking for a safe exit rather than the success of this movement. With this current strategy, we will lose. There is no doubt about this. If the leadership do not change their strategy, the only scenario in which we can win is if Sardar Aman gives an ultimatum to that he will lead the people towards Muzaffarabad himself if the core committee do not move from Rawalakot. I am sick to death of it. Day after day, Muslims are demonised, smeared, scapegoated and treated as fair game by politicians, media establishments and professional outrage merchants chasing clicks, votes and attention. They pour fuel on fear and division, then suddenly discover their silence when ordinary Muslims are attacked by a man with a machete, simply for being muslim. What happened in Edinburgh is exactly why so many of us have been sounding the alarm for years. Anti-Muslim hatred doesn't emerge from nowhere. It grows in an environment where hate and prejudice is normalised, rewarded and amplified. Enough. Absolutely enough. Muslims should not have to live with the constant message that they are suspects in their own country, outsiders in their own communities, or targets for someone else's political project. The people stoking this hostility need to answer for the climate they are helping to create.
