@bcherny @simonw Hey Boris! Claude Code on iOS never works for me. Always gets stuck in “starting Claude code” state and then eventually just crashes the conversation.

I'm excited to release AI Agents workflows at simple-ai .dev, inspired by @AnthropicAI's article on building effective agents, powered by @xyflowdev and the @aisdk! You can one-click install these AI Agents examples through the @shadcn CLI Link below 👇

@nathanmarz Well, I personally disagree (I did both), and I think by being too assertive on that topic, especially without any argument, you can only be wrong anyway, it’s an old debate!

Signs you're not a strong programmer: - You think static typing makes software more robust or reduces testing burden - You treat dependencies like black boxes and struggle to dig into their code to analyze issues - You think an RDBMS is the best way to manage data, period - You blindly follow "best practices" - Social proof is a major consideration for technical decisions - You think "complex" and "complicated" are synonyms - You can't distinguish good ideas from bad implementations - Your first instinct when confronted with a novel programming idea is to dismiss it

@nathanmarz And « anyone » skilled at using statically typed languages will disagree 🤷‍♂️

@LoopCodeRecur I've learned that the hard way from having built large systems with both kinds of languages. Anyone skilled at using dynamically typed languages will agree with that. The key word there is "skilled".

@xtdb_com @jarohen I’m all in favor of innovation, but SQL ecosystem is huge and it’s a DSL widely teached, also there are plenty of resources for a LLM to learn from, so it’s quite obvious to me that the answer to both your questions is SQL unless XTQL ends becoming a mainstream standard itself

@jarohen Ultimately the question of XTQL's success will hinge on: which is easier for ChatGPT to generate correctly first time? And which is easier for a human to sanity check before running?
