Capcom has confirmed it is using generative AI in its game development process, but only for routine tasks to improve efficiency and productivity. In its latest earnings briefing materials, the company explained that generative AI serves as a tool to handle repetitive work -Research -Draft generation -User analysis -Interactive manuals -Error checks -Meeting notes -And similar repetitive work The aim is to reduce busywork so developers can focus more on creative design, storytelling, and other high-value aspects of game making. Capcom has made it clear that it will not implement any AI-generated materials into final game content. All creative elements, including art, assets, audio, and in-game features, remain fully human-driven.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has explained why Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S at first. It is not because of any deal that makes the game exclusive to PlayStation. “No, historically, Rockstar has released games on consoles first,” Rockstar is focusing on its “core consumer” the main players who use consoles. Zelnick added that the team will be “judged by serving the core” and that if the core consumer is not “served first and best,” reaching other players could be an issue. This is the same plan Rockstar used before. Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 both launched on consoles years before they came to PC. Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on track to release in 2026 on consoles. A PC version is expected to follow later.

There is something that I have been thinking the last few days and it is driving me insane. When did we stop enjoying games? Like for real? I can give you the latest example with Crimson Desert, it is a single player open world game, right? Back in the days i remember exploring and experimenting with builds and everything. While now every corner i see is a Youtuber or a Tiktoker being like: THIS IS THE BEST BUILD, USE THIS BUILD Like for real? This ain't a competitive game like Apex or something else.. It is a SINGLE PLAYER game made to be enjoyed. Can we stop being slaves to content creators that try to dictate how you should play games?

These are all good but they won't be properly good until we get the key factor missing in the entire program. Every and i mean every platform that has a creator program has a proper earning dashboard, has transparency, has systems that warn you if you do something wrong. (here you just get sacked without warnings normally, seen it thousands of times) All things X doesn't have at all!
