@vortex_tcg I think they can be collector stuff as well. soma was unplayable but 00 has such a dedicated fan base that I can make sense of it. But then like we didn’t need hajiraboshi 😂 it’s unplayable and no one cares for Urdr Hunt really.

@Lugiaaaa I hear that also! For me, here is my logic in terms of promo cards in events. For store tournaments, I don't really mind as much what gets printed, as long as it's a new alt art. For events like regionals, same alt art thought but preferably more playable cards

@BenryBrand I used to play it in lost box at one point. Your deck would get down to under 10 cards late game and it essentially just said “pick 2 cards in your deck and add them to hand” felt great.

@omgmyatt @PrinnyJessDude I managed to get a German copy for a fifth the price. They didn’t make different language games so the box is the only difference. 2 is the best of the og trio by far and reborn is also amazing.

Had my best times playing this with a full 6 learning raids together and grinding. Unbelievable experience when it’s at its peak. Actually crushing to see it go. I have no idea how they managed to fumble one of the best games of all time this hard.

@4milleforever I feel like that is the vast majority of people though which is why I don’t understand what’s pushing the opposite direction so hard. Is it just a silent majority of people who just watch surface level shows think that was pretty and move on?

@Lugiaaaa Like GQuuuuux animation is movie-level for every episode. But I would much rather have a simpler animation with a satisfying story then what is basically a "proof-of-conept"

Final thoughts on GQuacks tommorrow. But overall a fun, but heavily flawed show that couldn't possibly have lived up to fans expectations. Especially considering it's runtime. But the girls are cute and that's what really matters.

Managed to get my invite this weekend at store championships. Played Victory. Deck feels so great but just doesn’t have a good matchup into Blurple. Happy to have the invite out the way.

@4milleforever I hate the new anime standard of so few episodes for everything. I understand the work that goes into it but by god it is ruining so many shows that would be phenomenal. Love gquuux but the unrealised potential is mind boggling

Oh GQuuuuux you have so many things going for you. Twenty years ago you would have had 50 episodes and became the new face of the franchise.
To start with, A Zeon Victory AU seems like such an obvious idea that it's honestly baffling that it had never been tried before.
