Everybody knows that Vincent van Gogh loved the colour yellow. But why? Well, the story begins 19,000 years ago...

Our pre-print describing the @uk_biobank Pharma Proteomics Project (UKB-PPP) is now online! biorxiv.org/content/10.110… We identify 10k+ genetic associations w/ protein concentrations; 85% are new. The data should help drive discovery of new biomarkers, diagnostics & medicines.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Scientist to help with the development of a new tumour sequencing service at Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology. seek.com.au/job/56775691 This is a very rare opportunity for a senior role in a large, busy genetic testing lab

@PeterAJohansson @Griffith_Uni @QIMRBerghofer Thanks! That works. Another DNA repair pathway gene implicated, yet the number of mutations is still relatively low in uveal melanomas? Maybe confined to the homologous recombination repair pathway, which promotes 3/3p losses and 8q gains, amongst others? Thoughts?
