@t0mbfx I fell into this mindset when I realised my data showed the highest winning R with my strategy was 2R. Having the data will make it stick.

If you exit a winning 2-3R trade And see it go to 6-7R and get pissed and emotional You don’t have the mindset of a profitable trader yet

Prop firms should stick with doing what do best... being prop firms. And brokers should create better UX's.

@t0mbfx A lot of my passed accounts were completed in one trade. Would I do that in my funded? Heck no. Stick to the strategy going forward. Aim is to collect funded accounts quickly and lower risk massively after.

If you’re a profitable trader, you shouldn’t be spending months on one funded challenge If you are, you’re probably under-leveraging Risk 2% per trade, and either pass it fast, or fail it fast Worst comes to worst you fail the challenge and have to buy another one - risk 2% per trade again and try to pass it in decent time This is much better than having the same funded account for months, or even a year and risking 0.5% per trade trying to escape from drawdown Fair enough if you’re not profitable yet But if you ARE, then you lose much more in opportunity cost by staying on these challenges forever than you do in actual cost by failing 1 or 2

To be better than mediocre, you must watch mediocrity outpace you for a little while. Accept delayed gratification.

@breadball25 @TraderAryan That's not that unusual but I had external stressors I had to fix before instantly seeing progress. And the time between passing a combine seeing a payout was incredibly short in comparison.

Ever since I started trading, I honestly lost interest in relationships 💔. It’s like my emotions shut down and all I think about is the charts. Sometimes I wonder if trading made me heartless … anyone else feel this way or is it just me?😂
