I think my most controversial Daredevil take among comic book fans is that I fucking HATE Mark Waid’s run. It doesn’t feel like Daredevil at all. Mark Waid is insanely talented, I know how well regarded his run is. But there is no Matt Murdock without him being miserable for me.

Even if it's good I really don't get the point of making it a Resident Evil film just cos it's set in Raccoon City. Sounds like you could've changed that and have it be any basic zombie film.

Nocenti did that, it’s street level, it can be goofy, absurd and also out there with the whole Daredevil vs Mephisto saga.
Pigeonholing him isn’t.

@CyclpsWsRght To me, I have the opposite reasons for liking it. Daredevil is a hopeful and goofy character, in costume at least and that boxing match isn’t shit if he does not win a few.
It’s annoying to see him constantly be seen as some ‘down to earth gritty’ dude…
