My car insurance decreased by half upon moving to AZ! Couldn't believe how much it went down.

Visiting Maine this summer. Looking at restaurants next to where we're staying, and there's a pizza place that serves a pizza with lobster, ricotta and pesto toppings. I keep thinking about it.

This is my view from work. Resort just below is $2000/ night, but I have this view nearly every day.

Work has been exhausting but pretty. Spring break crowd, busiest time of year, 12-14hr days. Finally my weekend. Finally enjoying my new living room. Not dinner, shower, straight to bed, up and out by 5-6am.

@demisassypants Paint by number? Some can be daunting though. My gma has dementia and I just got her stained glass coloring books with nice markers, she can't do paint by number anymore.

I need to go to this hell hole tonight or tomorrow. This Google feature in real time is pretty great. Thinking I should go tonight and be done rather than day time tomorrow.

Because of all these big changes in the works, I added on the stress of completing ALL my Xmas shopping by Thanksgiving, and it's a freakin miracle and feels so good. About to finish wrapping and mail out everything. It feels so good! Done!

Finally told my parents now that everything seems certain. My mom is *always* like "you could always use your degree! " and I keep saying I'm never going back to that. Anyway I got her a Xmas mug that says "I'm not a bitch, I'm a motivational speaker!" I hope she finds it funny.

I'm walking out of the DMV today, having just completed upgrading my license to a Class A CDL to start a new career in truck driving, when I rec'd email from my restaurant job that most staff is being laid off due to the COVID shutdown with a link to unemployment. Crazy.
