Freedom: Wear a helmet if you choose. The IIHS claims helmets could have prevented 11% of motorcyclist fatalities since the '70s. The MRF supports rider decision-making, emphasizing crash prevention over helmet mandates. Focus on training and awareness. Let those who ride decide!

A public hearing will will be Thursday, Nov 7, 2024 focusing on requiring an increasing percentage of California on-road motorcycle sales to be zero-emission starting with the 2028 model year. The proposal aims to have half of all new on-road motorcycles sold be ZEM by 2035.
