A top regret for me is never asking for or seeking out a mentor. The amount of mistakes I could have avoided & the increased amount of confidence in larger scale choices are incalculable. The openness and willingness on both sides (mentor & mentee) is SO different now vs. 20-25 years ago. Didn’t know to ask and no one offered - but that is ON ME. Please don’t make the same mistake I did - go out there and take advantage of the tremendously different environment and opportunities.
