@MUHawk0810 @BernhardVienna @nbcsnl Yeah, because insulting his ex-best friend and bullying a kid whose parents were tortured by Voldemort so horribly that they went crazy was so noble of him.
English

@BernhardVienna @nbcsnl He was noble and misunderstood in the books too…
English

@nbcsnl The point here is that they have to change the character and the story. They will make Snape noble and misunderstood. Simply because he's black! And then it becomes a story about racism in America.

@Aggiealltheway2 I’m last person that likes UC, but an Aggies fan knocking on them is HILARIOUS!! A&M has been irrelevant in every conference they’ve been in
English

@tommylang1630 Dawn just isn’t used to playing against legends like Geno
English

@crutchkn Just shows UC moves the meter in Ohio and nationally. Literally everyone had an opinion and watched the presser.
English

@MUHawk0810 @MarcusBibulus @ReboundRundown @DavidSmoak Miami lost to UNC Greensboro players wearing Cincinnati jerseys in Wes Miller's first year at Millett. Nobody is scared of your team.
English

Travis Steele was asked by @DavidSmoak about the rumors of Miami turning down a game with Cincinnati:
“We would play Cincinnati yesterday. I mean we’d be insane to not play that game. If they wanted to do it.”
English

@sm00th_kw @MarcusBibulus @ReboundRundown @DavidSmoak I’m sure Miami would love to start a home and home series again with Cincy Tech
English

@MarcusBibulus @ReboundRundown @DavidSmoak Offers been on the table for 5 years running and only Miami of OH is the reason the game isn’t played.
UC hasn’t lost to Miami of OH in 35 years and played a MAC school this year. Travis Steel is full of shit.
English

@Kevinbeck1 @MikeDardisWLWT No no, the power conferences avoid playing mid majors.
English

@MUHawk0810 @MikeDardisWLWT If teams are going to avoid the power conferences and schedule like this going forward, what other choice do they have. They don't need the little guys.
English

This is what’s wrong with college basketball. After you get past 15 teams… None of those other teams really have a chance to win. So Auburn goes out in the first or second round? And so does Miami? Who cares? Miami is an awesome story… I don’t care about metrics.
Dick Vitale@DickieV
Should not even be a debate about 29-0 @MiamiOH_BBall as to whether they should be part of @MarchMadnessMBB if they do not win the MAC tourney -metrics used to define who should qualify as at large teams is one sided & favors MEDIOCRITY from power conferences over EXCELLENCE by mid majors .
English

@Kevinbeck1 @MikeDardisWLWT I think the power conferences going off and doing their own thing would be awesome for the NCAA.
English

@MikeDardisWLWT I care because I'm concerned about the mid majors scheduling like Miami did going forward. If they stop playing the power conferences and other mid majors, when the power conferences get squeezed out bids. The power conferences are just going to create their own tournament
English

@NYMikeMetcalf @awfulannouncing Or we can beat a “power” team because we all know that only 2-3 teams from a “power” conference are actually “power” teams
English

@awfulannouncing With no wins against a team from a power conference this season on their resume, they could end up being a 7 seed losing the 7-10 game in the first round against a team from a power conference that went something like 18-14.
English

Bruce Pearl on 29-0 Miami (OH): "If we're selecting the 68 best teams, then Miami (Ohio) is going to have to win their tournament to qualify as a champion. Because as an at-large, they are not one of the best teams in the country." 🏀🎙️#NCAATournament
English

@Bearcat_nut5 @timpadams1 I talk shit about UC for several reasons (all of them petty), but the biggest one is the pridefulness that keeps them from continuing the home and home series in both football and basketball. The schools are 30 minutes apart. And that goes for UD,XU, Miami and UC in MBB too
English

Not sure why UC fans want to lobby against Miami (OH) basketball making the NCAA Tournament.
Winning 27 straight games is tough for any team. No MAC team has ever gone undefeated, and plenty of MAC teams have won in the NCAA Tourney despite having bad seeds.
I hope Ohio beats Miami in their final game of the year, but I’d MUCH rather see the Redhawks in the tourney than a 7th or 8th place school from a P5 league (assuming Big East still counts as P5, and I think they do).
Saying Miami would be killed in the tourney is pretty stupid. Most low seeded teams get killed, but I’d love seeing them get the chance.
Arguing against Miami’s inclusion just seems like penis envy to me.
English

@ChadBrendel Miami is less than 30 miles away…why wouldn’t UC schedule a DI school that costs less than 5k to travel .
English

None. Why would UC schedule a MAC team home and home? Miami is a buy game P4 opponent.
George W Kush@Vinkinkef
@ChadBrendel How many of the unaccepted four offers were home-and-homes?
English

@ChadBrendel Miami would probably love to restart a home and home series with Cincy U, but there’s no reason for Miami to stoop to buy games with a high mid major program
English

Over the past 5 years, UC has put an offer on the table to play Miami FIVE times. Miami accepted once. So there's that.
Bruce Weingart@bruce_weingart
I have hit a nerve with the UC fans who have no answer when I call out UC and Xavier for being too chickenshit to play Miami, home or away. One UC fan pulled out the "it will hurt our net," and then I pointed out they lost to EMU at UC this year. @MiamiOH_BBall @MiamiOH_DSayler
English

@maneater38 @hockeyopinions9 @wshockeyy No no, ad revenue and TV money pays salaries. Tickets pay for nothing
English

@hockeyopinions9 @wshockeyy The tickets that the “fans” buy are literally paying their salaries
Yes they owe them at least a fist bump

Jhostynxon Garcia, the 23-year-old outfield prospect acquired from Boston in the offseason, discussed the opportunity he now has with the Pirates

@BearcatMTA @jsteele78 @IrishRedhawk That’s what the world said when UC made the CFP and got beaten like a French Army
English

@jsteele78 @IrishRedhawk I have no beef whatsoever with Miami. But this might be the most fraudulent unbeaten team in history. Played little sisters of the poor 24 times.
English

@mattvanswol @EmmanuelAcho Yep….agree….but to be fair, no one will ever beat MJ
English

@EmmanuelAcho Hot take:
A halftime show for Americans should be in our National language.
I know. Crazy wild thought.
English

@JizzleLover UC is the definition of “that one time, long, long ago”

@JizzleLover He’s a perfect anchor for that black hole in Clifton…Wes4eva
