RID is leaving Twitter due to Elon Musk eliminating the Accessibility team. One of RID’s values is accessible & effective communication access in all spaces where diverse, intersectional Deaf lives are impacted. Access for all. Now.

The NAD is suspending its tweets due to @Twitter eliminating its entire Accessibility team, and will not resume until a showing of commitment to full inclusion.

Our district-wide signing meal is tomorrow (Tuesday, 11/15). All @meteavalley, @WaubonsieValley, and @NeuquaValley students who are interested in learning/using #ASL are welcome. Ask an ASL teacher for more information.

It's Deaf Awareness Week! This week focuses on promoting the positive aspects of deafness, encouraging social inclusion, and raising awareness of the organizations that support those who are deaf.
