You'd be surprised how much straight people say that immediately let's you clock their sexuality.

And I did call sexual orientation a misnomer, a better expression would be an attraction pattern. But yes "sexual" is a sex derivative.

Sexual orientation is genuinely a bit of a misnomer, because it's more so about who you feel romantic and/or sexual attraction to and what's the pattern behind that feeling.

It's that anyone can go there, most people are straight, so most people there are straight, and straight people meet each other or date there. It's more that it's not an exclusive lgbtq space.

Regular cafes will have people outside of the community, and little to none in the community, even less ones who are out and proud. It's not an effective community-building experience.
