The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has issued a four-year ban to CS2 player Dmytro “nifee” Tediashvili following a detailed investigation into match manipulation and betting-related corruption during an ESIC Member Event. Findings confirmed deliberate in-game manipulation tied to abnormal betting on prop markets: highlighting a growing integrity risk arising from proposition market match-fixing within competitive Counter-Strike. This matter underscores ESIC’s commitment to identifying and addressing corruption at all levels of play, including emerging threats tied to micro-events within matches. Without pointing fingers, a surprising no. of government recognized esports federations weren't picked. Either EWCF didn't think they had the chops, or they didn't like the ENC terms. Some definitely played themselves by forever distancing from their local industry & community.
