Recently, I had the opportunity to bring together a group of young men representing the next generation of leaders in our city to discuss issues facing young Black men in NYC, as well as opportunities for mentorship, leadership, public service and community organizing.  As we continue working to address the affordability crisis that has pushed 200,000 Black New Yorkers to leave our city over the last 20 years, it is critical that we bring the struggles of every New Yorker to the heart and solutions of our politics.
