@Makertech3D @Kickstarter Looks like an awesome printer! (But that's based on from what I see)

@ZombieHedgehog_ As @killa_prints mentioned, it halves the belt paths, and also provides gains in torque. Being a tool changer with a large gantry it's advantageous to have 4 gantry motors running on 48V. Also these motors are high quality LDO!

Is it necessary to use AWD for this type of setup? To me it makes more sense to simplify everything and use higher quality AB motors. Is there a major quality (not speed) advantage to using an AWD corexy setup?
