@F1GuyDan There is no onboard footage of his first lap in Q3 on F1TV.

Has anyone confirmed the onboard for Kimi’s first Q3 lap (his pole lap) was ever actually available? Or is it likely the onboard footage that went viral was his 2nd Q3 lap & everyone just went hive mind? The telemetry cutting out backs F1’s story even if it seems very convenient.

On a more positive note, it appears the unnatural drops in speed when the cars go into harvesting has not really degraded the in-person experience as much as they have the onboard experience, which leaves a lot to be desired especially in qualifying. I can only comment on this footage, but unless you have a trained ear, you wouldn't be able to tell the massive drop in RPMs when they go into full load harvesting trackside.
