@justicetraumas “It’s a challenge, but it’s nothing I can’t handle. I’m doing good so far, but it’s quite the adjustment, yes.” Carisi said as he looked at Alex. “Since Barba isn’t here anymore, would it be okay if I started coming to you for advice?” He asked, smiling at his friend.

@MalevolentADA Alex simply smiled softly and nodded her head. “ well…that’s good that you’re doing alright with work, it seems like it’s quite the adjustment going from detective to prosecutor..hm?”

Carisi can be found at the office. He looks exhausted and he’s working on several cases, trying to get caught up. He needs to go home and he knows it, he just refuses to until the work is done.

@DeducedJane TW: Abuse. “Too many cases..” He muttered, looking through the scattered papers all over the desk. “I have a missing kid, a dead kid in the river, several molestation cases..it’s just all overwhelming.” He accepted the cup, taking a sip before getting back to work.

@justicetraumas Carisi smiled over at his friend. He then ordered himself a cappuccino. “I’m doing alright. I just thought I’d come see you before I went to my office.” He said. Plus, Alex was one of his best friends.
