The drive and passion from founders like @WatanabeSota led me to contribute since 2020. The dedication and commitment from the small team at the time led me to leave my career in teaching, move to a new country, and go FT @AstarNetwork. The team has more than doubled in size since, and with some of the most talented, humble, and intelligent individuals I’ve ever met. Grateful for all the knowledge gained, builders met, and the camaraderie grown. But one thing especially grateful for: the upcoming opportunity @AstarNetwork has within the @soneium eco. I’ve seen projects come and go in the space with their high promises of “adoption”. Many with truly good intentions. Issue is, it’s just not easy. If anything I’ve learned working in a web3 startup to the point we’re at now, it’s insanely difficult -hiring good talent, maintaining a secure product, consistently seeking business opportunities, and convincing whole industries that web3 is a big part of the next tech revolution- and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. As a whole space, we have an extremely rare opportunity to gain true traction with Sony and not just on user acquisition side, but interest from the non-web3 dev community. Always been a believer in more minds, more ideas. The next phase of Astar and $ASTR is coming soon, and lots of team members and builders are heads-down working their ass off to make sure it’s one that is unstoppable. This time around it’s just not a small team anymore- it’s a powerhouse of builders, community members, co-workers, businesses and other who are serious about growth. Stronger together.
